Video: Kane reveals he will carry his Liverpool hurt into the summer

Harry Kane has insisted that Tottenham Hotspur will look continue their progression over the past few seasons and will do everything they can to be better than ever.

Speaking after England’s match against Holland on Tuesday night, Kane admitted that the Champions League final defeat to Liverpool still hurts and will be something that he will think about for a long time but stressed the importance of coming back for pre-season fresh and ready to go for the upcoming campaign.

The striker returned to the starting line up for the match against Jurgen Klopp’s side in Madrid last weekend after nearly two months out with a significant ankle injury and looked off the pace.

It has been a disappointing week for the 25-year-old and Spurs fans will be hoping that he can avoid any serious injuries next season if we are to challenge for silverware and end our current run of eleven years without a worthwhile trophy.
