Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane has now revealed that the recent positive COVID-19 test result did indeed come from a player rather than a member of staff at the club.
Spurs announced earlier this week that the Premier League had informed them of one positive test result from the latest round of testing at Hotspur Way.
The person in question was not identified, while the statement also did not confirm whether it was a player or member of staff. However, Kane has now confirmed the former in a Sky Sports interview.
