Video: Lloris reflects on Bournemouth draw and looks ahead to North London Derby

Hugo Lloris has stressed the importance of moving on from the goalless draw against Bournemouth and being focused on Sunday’s North London Derby.

The France international, who made a couple of fine saves on Thursday, also rued the fact that yet another VAR decision went against Tottenham.

While this week has been disappointing for Spurs, Lloris managed to claim back-to-back clean sheets in the Premier League.

He called on his teammates to show spirit and desire in the all-important clash on Sunday. The Spurs skipper, who is now a veteran of North London Derbies, insisted that the game will be determined by small details.

It is evident to see that Lloris is trying to take Jose’s advice about leadership and being demanding of others, on board. The Spurs boss has made it clear that he thinks the players are too nice with each. Harry Kane, despite his ability to lead by example, does not seem like the kind of character to pick an argument. Perhaps, the team needs the likes of Hugo and Eric Dier to remind their teammates that nothing but 100 per cent effort is acceptable.
