Hugo Lloris has revealed that he had a conversation with Harry Kane about England’s Euro 2020 final defeat to Italy in the summer.
The France captain knows all about bitter disappointment in finals, not only with Spurs but also in the Euro 2016 final against Portugal.
In the case of Hugo, he managed to win the World Cup two years later and, in 2021, also lifted the Nations’ League with his country.
Lloris has revealed that he told Kane the 2016 final could have changed the careers of all the players involved, and they never imagined they would lift the World Cup just 24 months later.
The Spurs captain also claimed he was not worried about Kane as the striker is at the perfect age and perfect moment of his career.
