Video: Lo Celso admits he starting to feel at home at Spurs

Midfielder Giovani Lo Celso has revealed his delight at becoming a permanent Tottenham Hotspur player this week.

Spurs initially signed Lo Celso on a season-long loan deal from Real Betis but exercised the option to make the deal permanent by paying an additional £27.2million on top of the loan fee (TEAMtalk).

While he struggled to make an impact during the initial few months of the season, the 23-year-old has come into his own in the last few weeks and earned Jose Mourinho’s praise (Football.London).

After committing his future with Tottenham until 2025, the midfielder gave an interview to the club in which he revealed that he now feels settled in London and also discussed his ambitions for the future.

It is safe to say that many Spurs fans feared that Mourinho didn’t fancy Lo Celso and that the club weren’t going to sign him permanently until last month. However, the 23-year-old has been our best player in the last few weeks. Hopefully, he can continue this run of form and establish himself as an important part of our midfield.
