Tottenham Hotspur may have been unable to finish off their season with a win in the Champions League, but what a journey they went on to get to the final.
It may sting now, but hopefully fans will be able to look back on this historic season with fondness, from Llorente’s heroics at the Etihad, to Vertonghen’s wing masterclass against Dortmund, and Moura’s hat-trick against Ajax.
