The goal came from a brilliant cross from Serge Aurier on the right hand side and Lucas Moura pulled away at the back post to head the ball back across goal.
Jose Mourinho’s side had gone behind on the 50th minute when Ashley Fletcher raced through the Spurs defence to slot home.
The Portuguese reacted quickly to Fletcher’s goal by bringing on Giovani Lo Celso and Erik Lamela in place of Harry Winks and Ryan Sessegnon.
