It was an emotional moment for Lucas Moura on Monday night as he netted his first goal for Sao Paulo following his return to the club.
Moura found the back of the net in his last game for Tottenham, coming off the bench to score in the club’s 4-1 win over Leeds United, and it has not taken the Brazilian long to re-open his account after completing a fairytale return to his boyhood club in the summer.
In just his second game back for Sao Paulo against Flamengo, the 31-year-old picked up the ball in the middle of the park and danced around several challenges before rifling the ball into the bottom corner.

That was a fairytale moment for Moura and the Sao Paulo fans, given that he had grown up supporting the side and first made a name for himself at the Tricolor Paulista as a youngster.
The 31-year-old is still undoubtedly good enough to play at the highest level and I have no doubt that he will dominate in the Brazilian top flight this season.
