Lucas Moura has taken just twenty five minutes to find the back of the net upon his return to action for Tottenham Hotspur this evening.
The Brazilian was named in the starting eleven for Tottenham U21s’ north London derby against their Arsenal counterparts in the Premier League 2 at Boreham Wood.
Moura has not featured for Antonio Conte’s first team since coming off the bench in the 4-3 win against Leeds United prior to the World Cup as a result of a problematic tendon issue which has limited his appearances this campaign to just 11 appearances in all competitions.
Just five minutes after going behind, Matthew Craig picked up the ball on the right and crossed into the box for Moura to side-foot home from six yards out.

It is great to see Moura back in action after a difficult season with injury and will be hoping to put himself in the shop window ahead of his expected departure from the club, which is more likely to be at the end of the campaign rather than before the January transfer window closes.
