Video: Man Utd boss responds to question about Harry Kane’s future at Spurs

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has refused to be drawn on speculation surrounding Harry Kane’s future following their 1-1 draw at home to relegated Fulham earlier this evening.

Sky Sports claimed yesterday evening that the forward had told Tottenham that he wants to leave the club ahead of next season and wants his future to be sorted before the European Championships begin next month.

The report suggested that Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea have all made contact with his representatives, CK66 which is run by his brother Charlie.

Solskjaer was quizzed by the media about whether Kane’s desire to leave will have an impact on the transfer market this summer with the Norwegian showing an element of class by refusing to talk about any speculation surrounding a player from another club by insisting that he would prefer to show Tottenham the respect they deserve.

Sky claimed last week that United are not expected to sign another forward this summer after Edinson Cavani penned a one-year contract extension and instead have their sights set on a central defender and a midfielder.
