Video: Mauricio Pochettino explains what disappointed him against Man City

Tottenham Hotspur conceded yet another early goal against Manchester City yesterday afternoon following Wednesday night’s Champions League fixture which certainly was not short of action.

City midfielder Phil Foden nodded home from close range from Sergio Aguero’s header back across goal when in reality Toby Alderweireld should have tracked the run of the highly rated 18-year-old.

The goal proved to be costly for Mauricio Pochettino’s side who had a host of decent opportunities to score themselves but were unable to find the back of the net.

Heung-min Son, in particular, had two chances to score but was met by an inspired Ederson in the City goal.

After the match, Mauricio Pochettino spoke to Spurs TV and admitted that he was disappointed with the goal and believes that his side deserved at least a draw from the Premier League encounter.

Instead, Spurs have suffered another away loss which puts significant pressure on their chances of finishing in the top four.
