(Video) Mauricio Pochettino’s post-Watford press conference in full

Mauricio Pochettino says his Tottenham Hotspur side must react quickly to “wake-up call” against Watford at Vicarage Road.

The Spurs boss pulled no punches in his damning assessment of his players after they were bullied off the park by a hungrier Hornets side during the second half. If you are yet to hear what he had to say about those who pulled on a Spurs shirt, make sure you play the video.

Spurs took the lead through Abdoulaye Doucoure’s own goal (54), and it would have been 1-1 in own goals had Toby Alderweireld’s header not come off the bar at the other end shortly after.

Watford did equalise through Troy Deeney’s clever header from Jose Holebas’ free-kick (69), and shocked Spurs with another header as Craig Cathcart converted Holebas’ corner from the left (76).

The result ends Tottenham’s own perfect start to the campaign and now face the prospect of the visit of unbeaten Liverpool after the international break.
