Sky Sports reporter Michael Bridge has revealed that Harry Kane did not train with his Tottenham Hotspur team-mates on Friday or Saturday of last week.
Bridge, who is a Spurs fan, was positioned outside Hotspur away earlier today and explained that Kane was absent from the two team sessions since they were purely focused on preparing for the visit of Manchester City.
It is said that Kane will join in the group training this week, with tomorrow being a possibility.
Tottenham are back in action on Thursday night in the Europa Conference League when they face Pacos de Ferreira in Portugal, followed by a Premier League trip to Nuno’s former side, Wolves on Sunday.

It makes sense for Kane not to be involved if Nuno was purely focusing on the tactical element and the game plan to face City, with the Portuguese’s set up working perfectly on the day to secure an opening weekend victory.
