Tottenham Hotspur’s forgotten man Danny Rose is still attracting interest from Turkey with Trabzonspor keen on the England international.
In an exclusive interview with SpursWeb, Sky Sports journalist Michael Bridge provided an update on the left-back’s situation in North London.
Bridge revealed that a colleague at Sky based in the Midlands that West Bromwich Albion were looking at Rose, but the Baggies are struggling financially and were likely not to be in a position to afford his wages.
Rose is likely to see out the remainder of his contract which expires this summer unless a move to Turkey materialises or something completely out of the blue happens before the window closes.
The 30-year-old has played just 180 minutes of football this season which came in two Premier League 2 appearances for the club’s Under-23 side back in November (transfermarkt).
Rose spend the second half of last season on loan at Newcastle United, but a permanent switch failed to materialise.
