Mikey Moore continues to excel, having scored yet again for the England Under-17 side as they defeated Spain in the final game of the group stages at the European Championships to seal qualification for the knockout stages.

It has been an incredible year for Mikey Moore who, after being a standout star in the Spurs Under-18 team this season, found himself training with the senior squad and even made his debut for the first team.
Moore bagged 16 goals and nine assists in 14 games for the Under-18s (Transfermarkt). With Tottenham having a two-week break between games in April, the 16-year-old was invited to train with the senior squad by Ange Postecoglou.
The youngster was an unused substitute for the games against Chelsea, Liverpool, and Burnley, but finally got to step on the pitch against Manchester City, albeit for roughly a minute. Moore picked up a further two minutes against Sheffield United on the final day of the season.

Mikey Moore on target for the Three Lions again
Now, on international duty with England at the Under-17 European Championships, Moore is leading the Three Lions with yet another incredible goalscoring run. After his latest against Spain, he now has four goals in three group games.
You can watch the goal below, as Moore picks up the ball on the edge of the box before taking a touch, setting himself, and whipping a delightful effort into the far corner past the Spain keeper to make it 2-1 to England.
England would go on to win 3-1 and finish second place in Group D to advance to the last eight in the competition. They will now face Italy on Thursday in the quarter-finals.
Spurs Web Opinion
What a goal, and what a little player we have got here. It’s been amazing to see everybody in the wider game recognise what Moore is capable of over this last week after he’s been so impressive for England. I’m desperate to see him play more for Spurs, I really hope we utilise his talent effectively from here on out because Moore could be very special indeed.
