Jose Mourinho took charge of his first training session for Tottenham today afternoon after being confirmed as the new head coach in the morning.
The club also conveyed the appointment of Joao Sacramento, Carlos Lalin, Nuno Santos, Ricardo Formosinho and Giovanni Cerra as a part of Jose’s coaching squad.
The first team squad, the majority of whom were involved in international action over the week, returned to Hotspur Way today to meet their new manager and his staff.
The club have released a short video showing the likes of Son Heung-min, Eric Dier and Moussa Sissoko introducing themselves to the new appointment.

Mourinho does have a knack for creating a tribal, us vs the world type of atmosphere at clubs which can work to the team’s favour. Hopefully, his messages help rejuvenate the club and help get the players fired up again. If we have any shot of finishing in the top four, we have to start turning results around quickly.
