Jose Mourinho has claimed that Tottenham played well enough to take all three points against Bournemouth after the sides played out a dull scoreless draw at the Vitality Stadium on Thursday.
Some Spurs fans were left extremely disappointed with the side’s lack of creativity going forward and the Tottenham boss admitted that the team lacked sharpness.
Despite acknowledging that it was not a vintage showing by any means from his side, he insisted that they could have come away with a win.
Mourinho also admitted that he was surprised that the Cherries employed a more direct approach than they usually do after having lose five matches in a row coming into the clash in the south coast.

Apart from the final twenty minutes of the game, we did not pose any questions at all to their backline. The only way I could see us scoring was through a set-piece. Neither side did enough to deserve all three points.
