Video: Mourinho hints frustration with Spurs players for not carrying out instructions

Jose Mourinho was not a happy man during his post-match interview with Spurs TV after Tottenham were held to a 1-1 draw by Wolves yesterday.

Spurs came flying out of the blocks and went ahead within the first minute of the game as Tanguy Ndombele found the back of the net from just outside the box.

While Tottenham did commit bodies forward in the first 30 minutes, they then decided to sit back and invite pressure for the remainder of the match.

The away side hardly threatened the Wolves goal in the second half and Roman Saiss made Spurs pay as he produced a great header past Hugo Lloris from a Pedro Neto corner in the 86th minute.

Mourinho appeared to be extremely frustrated after the game and hinted to Spurs TV that the players did not carry out what he had asked of them at half-time.

It is clear from what Jose is saying that he asked the players not to invite pressure onto them in the second half and to look to kill the game. However, we were extremely poor in our attacking transitions and often gave the ball straight back to Wolves whenever we won it.
