Jose Mourinho’s era has now officially begun at Tottenham Hotspur as the Portuguese manager took charge of training for the first time today since being appointed Tottenham’s first-team coach earlier in the morning.
The 56-year-old has now given his first interview to the club as a Spurs manager. The former Chelsea and Manchester United gaffer was quite enthusiastic about the squad at his disposal and spoke of his desire to bring young players through.
He also lavished praise on the club’s new stadium and training facilities, while adding that he always believed the club had great potential to grow.

Jose is obviously at his element in front of a camera and he said all the right things to get Spurs fans really excited. What also seemed to come through was that his demeanor seemed much calmer than we are used to seeing. However, it is going to take quite some time to get over Mourinho using ‘us’ to refer to Spurs.
