Jose Mourinho may demand top effort from his players on the pitch, but one source has now claimed that the Special One was quite the opposite as a player himself.
Former centre-back, Baltemar Brito, who later worked as Mourinho’s assistant at Porto and Chelsea, claimed that the Spurs manager left a lot to be desired as a player (Bleacher Report).
He suggested that Mourinho was lazy and treated football like a hobby, which is what stopped him from being a better player.
Mourinho responded to these allegations in his press conference today, laughing and joking that it was all true and that he would have got rid of himself on a free.
