Jose Mourinho revealed last night that he told his players he was happy that they conceded before half-time against Crystal Palace.
Asked about his half-time team talk, the Spurs head coach claimed that the conceded goal served as proof that, against a team like Palace, if you give away crossing opportunities, it becomes hard to keep a clean sheet.
Fortunately for Mourinho, the Lilywhites battled back in the second half and scored another three goals, with the game finishing 4-1 to Tottenham.
