Video: Mourinho reveals what Spurs must improve on after narrow Norwich win

Jose Mourinho has admitted that his Tottenham Hotspur side have to be more clinical to kill off matches.

Spurs scraped past bottom of the table Norwich City last night with a narrow 2-1 win in North London.

The home side took the lead in the first half when Dele Alli turned in Serge Aurier’s cross but were unable to find a second in the opening part of the second period.

Their inability to find the back of the net nearly cost them dearly when Ryan Sessegnon brought down Max Aarons inside the penalty area for the Canaries to level the score.

Daniel Farke’s side looked the more threatening of the two teams to go on and win the match in the moments after the equaliser before Spurs fortunately had some luck when Dele Alli’s effort looped up into the path of Heung-min Son to head home.

After the match, Mourinho spoke to the club’s official Twitter channel and urged his side to be able to build upon a 1-0 lead or risk dropping points from such matches.
