Video: Mourinho mocks the appearance of former Arsenal player

Jose Mourinho and Brendan Rodgers certainly go back a long way, with the Leicester boss having been part of the special one’s coaching staff during his first spell at Chelsea.

Mourinho and Rodgers have had some high profile clashes since the latter entered into management, with Mourinho’s Chelsea famously stopping Rodger’s Liverpool from winning the title in 2014, courtesy of a 3-1 win at Anfield.

The pair certainly seemed quite complimentary of each other before Tottenham’s all-important clash against Leicester City on Sunday (Football.London and The Independent), which the Lilywhites ended up winning 3-0.

Before the game, the Tottenham head coach was seen joking to Rodgers that his assistant coach and former Arsenal defender, Kolo Toure, had gained a lot of weight.

Although Mourinho has not worked with Toure in his career, it appeared as if the pair had a good relationship with each other and it was taken in good humour.

Spurs Web Opinion

Mourinho has seemingly become calmer and much more relaxed than he used to be. Even during his spell at Manchester United, you could tell that the pressure was getting to him as he always appeared to be in a bad mood before and after matches. In contrast, he has been much more balanced in his assessment of the team’s performances since arriving at Tottenham. It looks like his personality is something he has worked on since his experience at United.
