Moussa Sissoko has had a remarkable season at Tottenham Hotspur having gone from an expensive flop to a cult hero among the lilywhite faithful.
The midfielder was left out of France’s World Cup winning squad last summer after two difficult seasons in North London following his transfer from Newcastle United but has certainly come into his own during the current campaign.
Sissoko has benefitted greatly from the sale of Mousa Dembele along with injuries to Victor Wanyama and Eric Dier have allowed him to play in a more central midfield position alongside Harry Winks.
His energetic box to box performances have been greatly appreciated by supporters and he was rewarded for his form earlier today was a special Player of the Season award on behalf of club legends.
Former defender Graham Roberts was on hand to present Sissoko with the award in front of his team-mates and coaching staff during today’s training session at Hotspur Way.
