A couple of season ago, few Tottenham fans would have honestly believed that they would be in the Champions League final, and one of their players of the season would be Moussa Sissoko.
However, in 2018/19, both of these facts are true, with the French midfielder being a huge driving force behind Tottenham’s CL campaign.
Sissoko was responsible for a gut-busting sprint through the Inter Milan ranks that set up a late Christian Eriksen winner in the group stages, a goal that would eventually help seal knockout qualification.
The midfield man was also instrumental in defeating Borussia Dortmund, Man City, and Ajax on the route to the final, even setting up Harry Kane in the 1-0 away to Dortmund.
