Video: New footage reveals what Kane told Lloris in the tunnel before first game at new stadium

Tottenham Hotspur overcame Crystal Palace 2-0 last Wednesday in what was the first game held at Spurs new 62,062-capacity stadium.

While the occasion was a historic one, Spurs really needed the three points in order to put themselves in a good position in the race for the top four spots, having gone five Premier League games without a win previously.

While Spurs struggled to break the visitors down in the first half, they eventually won courtesy of second-half strikes from Son Heung-Min and Christian Eriksen.

The club have now released behind the scenes footage from the occasion, and it appears that Kane gave Lloris some advice which proved instrumental in Spurs getting all three points.

The video shows Tottenham’s No.10 suggesting playing toward the goal in front of the south stand in the second half, to the Tottenham captain.

The single tier south stand, which has than 17,500 fans packed in it, generated fantastic noise during the game, and as it happened Spurs scored both their goals in the second.
