Some of the Spurs fans in attendance at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this evening have reacted furiously after the planned lap of appreciation/honour has failed to go ahead.
Supporters were told by the stadium announcer to pateniently wait in their seats following the final whistle against Aston vILLA to wait for the players to come back out to show their appreciation towards the fans, however after thirty minutes of waiting an announcement was made over the tannoy to tell the supporters to have a safe journey home.
Fans reacted by singing ‘Sixty quid, you’re having a laugh’ in their disgust over the price of the ticket which the 10,000 supporters were made to pay by the club.
Some fans attempted to get closer to the pitch to voice their fury but were forced back by the stewards.
