Video: Norwich highlight every involvement of Spurs loanee in last display

Oliver Skipp has come on leaps and bounds during his loan spell at Norwich this season and the on-loan Tottenham midfielder is certainly showing no signs of slowing down as we enter the business end of the campaign.

The 20-year-old has been one of the Canaries’ best players this season and his consistency has been one of the key reasons why Daniel Farke’s side are sitting pretty at the top of the Championship table.

Skipp has already racked up plenty of Man of the Match awards already, with Farke even joking after their 4-1 win over Stoke on Saturday that perhaps Spurs fans are voting for the midfielder on the Man of the Match polls.

However, there was no doubt that the England Under-21 international was once again one of the best players on the pitch as the Championship leaders demolished the Potters.

Norwich posted a video of every single touch of the ball that the Spurs academy graduate had on Saturday as the midfielder not only cut out opposition attacks but also showcased his ability as a deep-lying playmaker.

While Skipp’s tenacity and composure in the middle of the park is plain for all to see, his performance against Stoke also shows that the midfielder has a great turn of pace which is what allows him to pinch the ball away from the opposition. With every passing game, it is looking more and more likely that Skipp will slot straight into Tottenham’s midfield alongside Hojbjerg next season when he returns from his spell at Carrow Road.
