Tottenham Hotspur have not completed a deal to bring Antonio Conte to the club, according to journalist David Ornstein.
During an appearance on Sky Sports News’s Early Kick off show this morning (4/6), Ornstein claimed that talks are ongoing between the club and Conte, however there are other managerial candidates which Spurs are still talking to.
The journalist questioned whether Daniel Levy will be prepared to give the Italian the transfer budget and personnel that he will want in order to win silverware in North London.

Tottenham may be still talking to other candidates as a fall back in the event that Conte decides not to take up the job, which seems perfectly sensible given the circumstances.
The key point will be whether Levy is prepared to back Conte to the levels which the Italian will expect if he is to turn around the fortunes of the club after a difficult 19 months.
