Dejan Kulusevski has revealed that he has never come across someone who loves winning football matches as much as Antonio Conte does.

Just three games into the season, there is already an indication that Tottenham are becoming adept at picking up results irrespective of the level of their performances.

While the Lilywhites thrashed Southampton on an opening day, they had to come back from a goal down twice at Stamford Bridge to rescue a draw.

Against Wolves, Spurs looked extremely lacklustre in the first half but dialed up the intensity after the interval, which Bruno Lage’s side struggled to cope with.

Conte praised the way his players “suffered” in the first half against Wolves and the character they showed to grind out a 1-0 win (BT Sport).

Kulusevski has now given an insight into Conte’s mentality, explaining that the Italian only cares about winning and wants his players to be ruthless.
