Nuno Espirito Santo has called for patience among the Tottenham Hotspur fanbase after admitting that his side are ‘not on the right track’.
Large pockets of the crowd at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium voiced their displeasure after watching their side comfortably beaten 3-0 by Manchester United.
There were boos ringing out at half time, full time and even during the match when the manager decided to bring off Lucas Moura for Steven Bergwijn.
Many seats within the state of the art stadium were empty by the 80th minute with those inside having witnessed enough of a toothless performance to register their fifth Premier League defeat of the season in just ten outings.
Nuno apologised to the supporters and admits that he fully appreciated the criticism he and his team are receiving given the poor level of performance witnessed.
🗣 "We are not on the right track."

I struggle to see how Nuno can turn things around at the club now given the level of toxicity among the fanbase and the dire standard of performance on the pitch.
He looks to be a man condemned, the level of performance has not changed and the fans have now turned.
