Video: Nuno explains Harry Kane’s absence vs Man City

After only returning to full senior training on Friday, Nuno revealed that Kane has been deemed as not fit enough to be ready to return to Premier League action.
The Portuguese has instead picked a front three of Steven Bergwijn, Lucas Moura and Heung-min Son.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is said to be ready to remain firm with his stance that Kane, who had three years remaining on his contract will not be going anywhere this summer, despite bracing himself for City to table an official bid following today’s match (Telegraph).

He told Sky Sports: “He is continuing his preparation, the delay all these things,” he told Sky Sports. “Harry needs to work, he worked today and he will keep on working until he is ready the team.

“Players that not had many sessions working with us, different case with Bryan because he was at the Olympic Games, also Romero, but I think for them it is important to be here to see the stadium, be at the hotel, the meeting, to see all the process we have, it is important.”
