Video: O’Hara warns of a few bad seasons watching Spurs lie ahead in trophy bid under Mourinho

Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jamie O’Hara has claimed that Jose Mourinho has to win a trophy in North London next season, otherwise the club will have gone backwards.

O’Hara praised Tottenham’s form following the restart of the Premier League campaign where they only lost one of their nine top flight matches with the 33-year-old admitting that he is not excited to watch the club play next season due to Mourinho’s style of play.

He referenced the exciting style of play which was on show while Mauricio Pochettino was in charge whereas Mourinho has been brought in to end the trophy drought which goes back to 2008.

The Portuguese will guide Spurs in the Europa League next season, a competition he has previously won on two occasions with O’Hara warning that Spurs fans can expect to suffer a few bad seasons watching their side if they win a trophy.
