Video: Oliver Skipp’s piece of skill in training leaves Moussa Sissoko helpless

Tottenham Hotspur trained at the Singapore National Stadium yesterday ahead of their first pre-season match.

Mauricio Pochettino’s squad were put through their paces at the venue where they will face Italian giants Juventus on Sunday.

While all eyes were on some of the bigger stars including Harry Kane and new signing Tanguy Ndombele, it was young Oliver Skipp who came up with the best piece of skill witnessed during the session.

The 18-year-old was spotted on camera picking the ball up in his own penalty area under pressure from Moussa Sissoko and the Spurs academy product showed great footwork to nutmeg the French international to create space.

Skipp made his Premier League debut last season after impressing in the club’s pre-season tour of the USA and with this kind of skill on display, he could be set to catch the eye once again.

The England Under-18 international made eight appearances in the Premier League last season but could find opportunities more difficult to come by this season following the arrival of Tanguy Ndombele, along with the squad depth present in the position with the likes of Harry Winks, Moussa Sissoko, Eric Dier and Victor Wanyama.
