Video: Oliver Skipp’s stunner puts Spurs ahead against Chelsea

Tottenham Hotspur have broken the deadlock against Chelsea just moments into the second half in north London after an eventful first 45 minutes.

The goal came from an unlikely source when Oliver Skipp picked up the ball on the edge of the Chelsea penalty area and his dipping effort beat Kepa to find the back of the net and send the south stand behind him into a frenzy.

It would prove to be a pivotal goal for Antonio Conte’s side and certainly one which Skipp will remember considering it is his first senior goal for his boyhood club.

The end of the first half was marred in controversy after Hakim Ziyech was initially shown a red card, only for the decision to be overturned by referee Stuart Attwell following a review of the pitchside monitor.
