Fresh off being awarded the League One’s PFA Player of the Month for December, Josh Keeley delivered another outstanding performance in goal to help Leyton Orient progress to the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Josh Keeley’s performances are impossible for Spurs to ignore
Keeley continues to go from strength to strength in the Leyton Orient goal, with the 21-year-old’s outstanding performances helping the O’s march up the League One table.
The goalkeeper has helped the club earn a record seven straight clean sheets and he has been the architect of their march into the fourth round of the FA Cup.
The on-loan Tottenham man has not only made some big saves in the competition but also scored a late equaliser in the FA Cup second-round clash against Oldham Athletic, and he has now produced yet more magic in the clash against Derby County.

Keeley steps up to take Orient through to the next round
Orient took the lead through Charlie Kelman on 20 minutes, but their Championship opponents levelled the scores through Dajaune Brown just four minutes later.
Keeley then came up with an excellent save in the second half, parrying Corey Blackett-Taylor’s fierce strike over the bar to take the game into extra-time.
With the scores level at the end of extra-time, the clash went into a penalty shootout, and both sets of players were excellent from the spot, with all of the first ten penalties hitting the back of the net.
We were then into sudden death, and that is where the Tottenham man stepped up, coming up with a crucial save against Callum Edur. Zech Obioro then stepped up to convert and send Richie Wellens’s side into the fourth round.

All eyes will be on Josh Keeley for fourth round clash
This win means that Leyton Orient will take on Premier League champions Manchester City at Brisbane Road on February 8.
That is a game where Keeley will be tested massively, and the Tottenham youngster would relish the prospect of showing what he can do in such a high-profile fixture with a lot of eyeballs on him.
A few Premier League clubs might be watching with interest and if the goalkeeper continues impressing, several could knock on Spurs’ door with offers at the end of the season.
