Kion Etete’s brilliant run of form continues as the striker netted another goal on Wednesday to help Northampton Town beat Oldham Athletic 2-1.
Etete had a slow start to his spell at Northampton Town but the flood gates have well and truly opened for the striker since he opened his account in the 3-0 win over Stevenage last month.
His strike against Oldham yesterday brought his tally to six goals in all competitions.
The 2-1 win on Wednesday took Jon Brady’s side to fourth in the League Two table, just six points behind league-leaders Forest Green.
Etete met a deep cross from the left with a perfectly connected volley to guide it past Jayson Leutwiler in the Oldham goal.

Spurs Web Opinion
Etete looks a completely different player to what he did a month ago when he was going through that barren spell. This demonstrates how valuable goals are for strikers’ confidence, which is why I am confident that the floodgates will open for Harry Kane as soon as he gets a couple of goals.
