Tottenham loanee Kion Etete scored his first goal for Northampton Town yesterday as they beat Stevenage 3-0.
Etete has led the line impressively for Northampton so far this season but a goal had eluded the Tottenham academy man until last night.
The 19-year-old even hit the crossbar in the League Two side’s 2-0 win at home against Mansfield Town on Saturday.
However, he finally managed to open his account for the campaign, as he jumped onto a loose ball and knocked it beyond the defender before finishing past Joseph Anang in the Stevenage goal.
Northampton then added two more goals through Sam Hoskins and Fraser Horsfall to put the game beyond Stevenage, with the 3-0 win taking Keith Curle’s side up to seventh in the table.

Spurs Web Opinion
I am delighted for Etete as he had been playing well so far this season and was unlucky not to get on to the scoresheet on a couple of occasions previously. Hopefully, this strike will help his confidence and allow him to go on a good run.
