Paul Merson believes that Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has to make a big decision over his future following the 2-1 defeat to Arsenal.
Jose Mourinho’s side had the opportunity to close the gap on the likes of Everton and Chelsea with victory over their rivals, but instead were below-par for the vast majority of the clash at the Emirates.
Merson described the England captain as the best striker in world football and believes that he gave the impression when he walked off the pitch yesterday as if he felt that the performance was not good enough.
The pundit claimed that Kane will want to look back on his career having won silverware, rather than having qualified for a top four place in the Premier League or made it to the final of the Champions League.
🗣”You wanna sit with your grandchildren and when they grandad what have you won he can say this and this”
