Arsenal legend Paul Merson has admitted that he fears for his former side ahead of this afternoon’s North London derby.
Merson believes that Arsenal will dominate the possession at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium while not threatening their rivals while Spurs will hit them on the counter attack through Harry Kane and Heung-min Son.
The 52-year-old claimed that he cannot see any logical way of how Mikel Arteta’s side can come away from the match with a victory unless they also look to employ tactics to sit deep and try to replicate Jose Mourinho’s likely game plan.
Arsenal have only lost back-to-back Premier League games against Tottenham twice – in May 1993 and November 2010.
