Video: Pedro Porro scores three screamers in Spurs training session

Pedro Porro has taken to social media to post footage of him scoring three worldies during a training session at Hotspur Way earlier this week.

Porro did not have the smoothest of starts to his Tottenham career, having struggled defensively at times in the defeats to Leicester City and Wolves.

However, the Spaniard demonstrated in the 3-1 win over Nottingham Forest on Saturday just why the Lilywhites broke the bank to snap him up in the January window as he was a constant threat in the final third and was involved in some neat build-up play down the right.

The 23-year-old setup Harry Kane’s opening goal with a perfectly executed cross, with the striker merely having to direct the ball into the corner.

The right-back has now posted footage on Twitter of some of his goals during training, which included a lovely left-footed curler into the top corner.

Watch the goals below:

Porro also showed his ability from set-pieces during the defeat at Wolves when his free-kick cannoned off the woodwork and some fans were left scratching their heads at how he did not take a second free-kick later in the same half.

These goals demonstrate the kind of technique that Porro possesses and there is no doubt that he is going to continue being an asset in the final third.

My only worry is that if we bring in a manager like Luis Enrique, who prefers playing a back four, the 23-year-old might not have as many opportunities to get involved in the attacking third and would have to work on his defending.
