It was a rather lacklustre first-half display for Spurs last night against Chelsea, as Nuno Espirito Santo’s men struggled to contend with the firepower and intensity of the Blues.
Even in the second half as Tottenham improved and Chelsea made changes, there was plenty of work for new signing, Pierluigi Gollini between the sticks.
While the former Atalanta man was not given anything you wouldn’t expect him to save, he went about his job efficiently on his debut, while also showcasing how comfortable he is with his feet.
Check out what he had to say about his debut in the video below:
A solid debut between the sticks 💪

Spurs Web Opinion:
I was very impressed by what I saw from Gollini. He stepped up to the occasion, making his debut at Stamford Bridge, even if it was a friendly. Some smart stops, lots of ordering players around, and some nice footwork.
