Video: Player admits what Spurs did in the first-half ‘cannot happen again’

Lucas Moura has admitted that he and his Spurs team-mates dropped the intensity in the first half after taking the lead against Norwich.

It was Moura who gave the home side the lead with the goal of the game after the Brazilian went on a typically mazy run and had a quick exchange with Son Heung-min before rifling the ball into the top corner.

While Moura claimed that he was delighted to get on the scoresheet in the Premier League game again after a long drought, he admitted that the team took their foot of the gas for the remainder of the first half.

The 29-year-old hailed the way Spurs approached the game in the second half, insisting that the side took full control of the match following the interval.

While Moura may not be as deadly in front of goal as Kane or Son, the Brazilian has unique qualities that complement the other two very well. He had one of those games yesterday where he seemed almost unplayable when he got on the ball.
