This marked four wins from the last four Premier League games for the Lilywhites, impressive form that has propelled them to just five points off the top of the League.
However, it isn’t just the Premier League in Tottenham’s mind, as they prepare for a pivotal fixture against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on Wednesday.
This is the first leg of the round of 16 fight, and is due to be played at Wembley, with the reverse fixture in Germany to be fought out in March.
However, Spurs are the only club to be playing Champions League mid-week after facing a Sunday fixture, something Pochettino was keen to point out yesterday.
The Argentine was left upset that Spurs had one day less to prepare for the key fixture, labelling it a ‘massive disadvantage’.
