Mauricio Pochettino has revealed his intention to return to Tottenham Hotspur as manager in the future.
The Argentine was speaking after BT Sport had screened a re-run of the Champions League semi-final second leg victory against Ajax.
Pochettino claimed that he wants another opportunity to manage the North London club before he dies and deliver a piece of silverware to the club’s supporters was a way of appreciation for the support they gave to him and his backroom staff during their five-and-a-half-year spell in charge.
Daniel Levy took the decision to sack the 48-year-old in late November after a disappointing start to the season and was replaced by Jose Mourinho less than 12 hours later.
