Everyone is familiar with the starting XI team photos that are taken before big matches, however, not everyone agrees with them.
Pochettino has been taking a stand this week, as he wanted his entire squad to be able to pose for the photo in Madrid.
His belief was that, if Spurs win, the whole squad should be remembered and put up on the wall, not just the eleven who happened to start the final.
The entire Tottenham squad have played a huge part in the Champions League so far this season, including the likes of Fernando Llorente, Erik Lamela, Kyle Walker-Peters, and more who will be unlikely to start the match against Liverpool.
Poch has now revealed that both Spurs and the Reds will be allowed to take full squad photos.
“The hardest thing when a game like this comes is that only 11 players can start. I asked UEFA if the teams can take a squad picture rather than just the XI. It’s about togetherness. We can show the value that football is a collective sport.”#beINUCL #TOTLIV #UCLFinal pic.twitter.com/ROVgIwLBnc
