Former Tottenham Hotspur manager, Mauricio Pochettino, was spotted attending the Brentford vs Leeds United game last night in the Championship.
The Argentine, who left his Spurs post back in late November, was seen in close proximity with Neil Ashton, a man who was recently appointed as Ed Woodward’s new PR man while they were taking their seats for the second half of the match.
Ashton was in attendance at Griffin Park as a guest of Brentford, and not to meet Pochettino.
Woodward is, of course, Manchester United’s executive vice-chairman, with Pochettino having being linked to the Red Devils yet again of late (Mirror).
Leeds are managed by Marcelo Bielsa, who unearthed Pochettino in their native Argentina when he was just a 13-year-old with the former Spurs boss revealing in a previous interview that he owed the 64-year-old everything (Daily Mail).

Some Manchester United fans have taken to Twitter to create some misguided speculation that Pochettino could be there to discuss a switch to Old Trafford.

Looking inevitable now that Poch will be our manager come next season.
Got to feel for Solskjaer. Doing his best with what he has and Poch will walk into a far better situation.
It'll be important not to underestimate Ole's role in the next few years.

Woodward already talking with Poch's representatives behind Ole’s back.
