The Spurs players and backroom staff including Ange Postecoglou have arrived at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium ahead of this afternoon’s match against Shakhtar Donetsk.
Postecoglou, who was appointed as Antonio Conte‘s successor as Spurs’ new head coach will get his first taste of action in North London today having already led his team in the pre-season tour of Asia-Pacific where they lost against West Ham United in Australia and followed it up with a victory over the Lion City Sailors in Singapore.
Following today’s friendly, Tottenham will round off their pre-season preparations with a trip to Barcelona on Tuesday evening before attention turns to the start of the Premier League season with an away fixture at Brentford next Sunday afternoon.
