Andros Townsend, who was on Tottenham’s books between 2008 and 2016 has claimed that Harry Kane is now the best striker in world football (TalkSport).
The Crystal Palace winger came through the ranks in North London with Kane in the Spurs academy and has seen the forward up close and personal for club and country.
Townsend brushed aside claims that Lewandowski and Benzema eclipse Kane by stating that neither would hit Harry’s numbers if they played in the Premier League.
The Spurs academy graduate also added that Kane will break Alan Shearer’s goal record if he sets his mind to it.
