Gabriel Agbonlahor has claimed that Hugo Lloris is Tottenham’s biggest problem at the moment and called for Jose Mourinho to drop the Frenchman.
Lloris has been in very good form over the last 12 months but the 31-year-old has come under scrutiny over recent weeks.
After Tottenham’s 5-4 loss to Everton in midweek, some pundits pointed the finger at the Spurs number one and suggested that he was at fault for a couple of the Toffees’ goals.
The 33-year-old did not cover himself in glory during Spurs’ 3-0 defeat the Etihad on Saturday as he failed to stop Rodri’s penalty despite getting a hand on it while also being beat on his near post for City’s second goal.
Agbonlahor believes that Tottenham’s main issues at the moment are at centre-back and between the sticks.
Here’s what the former Aston Villa striker told talkSPORT:
👀 “Dier hasn’t got the pace! Sanchez has the pace but he’s clumsy.”
🧤 “The biggest problem is the ‘keeper.”
🙌 “If I was Mourinho, I’d be giving Joe Hart a chance.”

Spurs Web Opinion
As soon as a player is under the microscope for an error or two, he usually gets unfairly criticised as people are always looking for mistakes.
I do not believe Lloris was to blame for City’s second goal as that was a smart finish by Gundogan even though the Frenchman was beat on his near post. If anything, Dier and Hojbjerg should have done more to block the German international’s shot after having tracked his run.
